CODE OF ETHICS

Bowen Therapy is taught in 8 module classes of 2 days each. It can be learned comfortably in between 4 to 6 months or longer.

  • The students can use and practice the procedures learned at each module immediately and you will be encouraged to do so as learning any 'hands-on' therapy requires constant practice and feedback. Each pair of modules is taught about a month or two apart to allow for this important practice.
  • Patient management is a key component of the course and time is allocated for lifestyle modification recommendations. Through case studies, both presented by instructor and brought to class by students.
  • Each new module provides a complete and ongoing review of the previous modules.
  • The 6th module is followed by an exam yielding a designation of CBP (Certified Bowen Practitioner).
  • The 8th module is followed by an exam yiielding a desgnatin of CBT (Certified Bowen Therapist).
  • Continuing Education credits are given by most professional assocaiations in Canada and the US for the Bowen Therapy training.
  • Students come from many different backgrounds and practices, even different careers. As befitting Tom Bowen's legacy all are welcome to take part in the training and many people take only a part of the training in order to care for family, freinds and even animals.
